Irregular verbs
go → went, see → saw, have → had, make → made, eat → ate, come → came, buy → bought, write → wrote.
“to be”
I / he / she / it was; you / we / they were.
Negative and questions
I didn’t go. Did you see the film? (base verb after did / didn’t).
Time words
yesterday, last week, two days ago, in 2020.
